TX4000 metal dance mat
Unless you’re serious enough to spend silly money on a Cobalt Flux (which is pretty much the ultimate DDR mat), one of the more affordable options is the TX4000, which although not in the same class as the CF, is still excellent value and infinitely better than any of the soft mats. The TX4000 features 9 high quality metal pads reinforced with metal brackets, and can take up to 135kg. The responsiveness is excellent, and accurate - unlike some of the cheaper mats - so get ready for your scores to go up!
Sammy PS2 keyboard pad
The Sammy PS2 keyboard mini pad is based on the standard DualShock pad design, but features a 6-row QWERTY keyboard below the thumbsticks. The mini keyboard includes a regular QWERTY keyboard, a row of function keys, a row of number keys, ALT, CTRL, FN buttons, space bar, and even arrow keys. This is a great controller for playing online games, or any game where you need to frequently enter text or chat.

Real Arcade Pro - Soul Caliber III
Hori have released a Soul Caliber III Edition of their heavyweight Real Arcade Pro stick - every bit as good as the regular Real Arcade Pro (which is a superb stick), but now with Soul Caliber graphics, matching buttons, and stick.

PS2 SNES emulator

SNES Station is a free PS2 SNES emulator based on Snes9x, and although it has trouble with a few SNES games, there are plenty of games that run absolutely perfectly. The SNES Station GUI is nice, you can save your game at any time (to memory card), and although you can only load roms from CD it’s still well worth trying out if you’re a Super Nintendo fan.

Hori Separate Controller
The Separate Controller from Hori Japan features a very unique design - it can be used as a normal controller, split into 2, or just the right side can be used as a one handed controller. The Hori Separate Controller is available in semi transparent blue or black and is officially licensed by Sony.
SF 15th Anniversary Arcade Stick
If you’re a fan of 2D fighting games, then you’re most likely a fan of Street Fighter. These 15th anniversary arcade sticks are manufactured from arcade cabinet quality components (weighing more than 3kg!), and have some some brilliant comic artwork from Udon. The build quality is superb, and I’m guessing most of these will sell purely thanks to the gorgeous artwork and display box.
AntiGrav - EyeToy gets serious
The EyeToy has never really been more than a novelty for the PlayStation2, but with recent releases such as Kinetic, and now AntiGrav, it might be time to start taking the EyeToy a bit more seriously.
The hoverboarding in AntiGrav is similar to the snowboarding in SSX, but there is one massive difference - AntiGrav has EyeToy integration. And it’s very, very good.
We Love Katamari

We Love Katamari is Namco’s sequel to Katamari Damacy, one of the strangest console games ever released for the PlayStation2.
Anyone who has played Katamari Damacy will instantly feel at home with We Love Katamari, as it uses many of the same concepts. At the core of the game is the katamari, which is basically a big sticky ball that collects object as you roll it around. You control the Prince of All Cosmos, who has been sent to earth by the eccentric King of All Cosmos - who while drunk one night, accidentally destroyed all the stars in the sky. Your task is to roll up all sorts of objects in your katamari - basically anything that gets in your way - the King then uses the katamari to replace the missing stars.
Sega Saturn Joypad for PlayStation2
Anyone who has used a DualShock controller for 2D fighting games will know how painful they are to use for extended periods of time, especially when performing combos that require ‘around the clock’ rotation of the D-pad. On the other hand, the Sega Saturn pad is regarded as having one of the most comfortable and responsive D-pads on any controller - and luckily Sega is now making a PlayStation version. Obviously the Sega Saturn Joypad is no good for games that require analog sticks, but for 2D fighters and platform games it is incredibly comfortable to use.
