Hori Real Arcade Pro
The Hori Real Arcade Pro is big, heavy, gorgeous, and … pretty expensive. But it’s also something kinda special.
The Real Arcade Pro is physically bigger than a PlayStation2, and at 2.6kg weighs more too. Yes, it’s bigger and heavier than a PS2. Hori have built this with serious arcade gamers in mind, and have used only the best Japanese arcade components (Seimitsu buttons and a Sanwa stick with a square restrictor/gate). All the typical special functions are included – turbo, slow motion, and hold – all accessible from a bank of switches above the stick.
If you’re looking for the ultimate arcade stick, the Hori Real Arcade Pro could very well be the one. The Seimitsu buttons and Sanwa stick are top shelf components, and the build quality and finish are superb. This is without a doubt the best arcade stick Hori has ever made. If you’re a serious ‘home arcade’ gamer, this may well be the holy grail.
