ICO is without a doubt one of the most visually stunning and emotionally involving titles ever released on any console system, and much of it’s success is thanks to it’s unique, haunting soundtrack.

Despite the short run time, composer Michiru Oshima covers a lot of ground on Melody In The Mist – from ethereal lullabies, to unsettling soundscapes – finally ending with “You Were There”, a beautiful closing piece encapsulating the conclusion of ICO and Yorda’s epic struggle.
