I have some of the best hardware known to civillians and i still cant get PCSX2 to run correctly. still lags. software cannot detect my processor features. software limitations is again the source of my sorrow.

You could also download Yellowdog Linux for PS3(elder version where other OS were possible to be installed) and run the Emulator there, I think I would try and use the GCube emu on it, since it is demanding a sick ass computer to just get near playable ^^

i was just wondering if that if i download this PCSX2 then would it make PS2 discs compatible with my PC? or would it be something similar to the backwards compatibility of the SONY PS3 60GB? or do i just have to stick with roms?

This is great! and it should shut up all the people moaning about “no backwards compatability” for the 40gb and 80gb. Not that i would ever consider playing a ps2 game on my ps3 anyway as they are prehistoric in comaparison. But i would play them on my laptop, im going to get the download now. Thanks for the info

All you do is put the disk into you cd/dvd drive, although when you first install it, it is set up to load iso cd images but it isn’t hard to change
