PS3 media server – made easy.

If you want to setup a media server on your PC that can communicate with your PS3, forget about Windows Media Player 11, and get TVersity instead. It’s free, and it works. The only problem I’ve found with TVersity is that sometimes you need to reboot the PS3 to see any updates you’ve made to your media library. It’s not a big deal, and it’s certainly a lot nicer than using clunky old WMP.

TVersity works very well and you can set it up to refresh the content at set intervals through out the day from once an hour once every 24 hours

no need to reboot the PS3 ever.

The ps3mediaserver (google “ps3 media server java”) is the best out of the 6 or 7 currently available and there is no rebooting required.
